Other Policies
| Artwork Descriptions | We aim to describe all artwork simply and accurately. The description includes approximate dimensions in inches (height x width) and other information applicable to the artwork. |
|---|
| Colour, Tone and Texture | All the photographs shown here are made by hand - nothing is machine made. Because these prints are handmade, there will always be a degree of variation from print to print (i.e. every artwork is unique). Some printing processes will vary more than others.
While we endeavour to show images that accurately reproduce the original artwork, digital reproductions rarely reflect the full majesty of a fine photographic print. How can a JPEG show texture for example? Or the difference between a gloss and a matt surface? Or the subtle tones the eye can see but the monitor can't show?
As a result of these factors, the print you receive may vary in colour, tone and texture from the image shown here. If you have any questions about this then please don't hesitate to contact us. |
|---|
| Archival Processing | All our artists use archival processes in order to maximise the longevity of their artworks. |
|---|
| Mounting and Framing | Unless otherwise noted all prints are sold unmounted because this offers you the greatest flexibility when preparing your print for display and it minimises shipping costs. We do not ship framed prints. |
|---|
| Prices | All prices are in British pounds (GBP, £) and exclude VAT / sales tax and shipping. Shipping charges depend on the size of the artwork and where in the world you are shipping to. |
|---|
| VAT / Sales Tax | Your contract of sale is between you and the artist. Whether or not VAT or sales tax is applicable depends on the artist's tax status, where they are based, and to where you want your order shipped. For example, if you are in the US and the artist is in Europe then no VAT will be charged because this is treated as an export. However if both of you are within the EU then VAT may be charged depending on the artist's tax status.
VAT / sales tax will be calculated by the system and itemised for you before you make your purchase. |
|---|
| Order Acceptance | We review all online orders before we accept them. The artist will send you an email once your order has been accepted. In the unlikely event of a problem with your order (for example if an artwork is no longer available) then we will refund your payment in full. |
|---|
| Shipping | The majority of our artist's artwork is made to order. We will provide you with an estimate of when your order will be shipped prior to your purchase. It may be necessary for the artist to revise this estimate when they review your order, and in this circumstance the artist will contact you directly.
Your order will be shipped to you by the artist. The price of shipping depends on the size/weight of the artwork, where the artist is based, and to where you want your order shipped. This will be calculated by the system and itemised for you before you make your purchase. |
|---|
| Import Duty | All import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. |
|---|
| Returns | We offer an unequivocal money back guarantee on all artworks sold online. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason then you may return it. We will give you a full refund (including the cost of return shipping) if you use the original packaging and return it to the artist in the condition in which you received it within ten days of it being delivered to you. Please inform us before you ship it back so we can confirm the arrangements with you. |
